First thing. Ant gave all the credit to Jaden McDaniels for this win. He also said Kat played great. Second thing. The reason you lost momentum was because Ant was locking down Murray in the 3rd, and he continued that in the 4th. Murray was going for 40 or even 50 and Ant stopped that. He had almost 30 at half time. It's not just about scoring the real Michael Jordan knows this too. Obvioulsy Ant wasn't the only one locking down the nuggets, it was a team effort. But Ant played his part on the defensive end. You asked what did he do this game? That's what he did. He was also a good leader who helped the twolves to go on this run, that won them the game. You wouldn't know that. His effort in every other stat that wasn't scoring was what he did as well. made some good passes and some good finds, when you tried to slow him down. Whch made your double teams look stupid. Lastly Ant has said it before, do not compare him to MJ. He said it. The media are the ones who are running with it. To help a dying NBA. He doesn't care about it. He does not think he's the next Jordan, nor does he want to. Ant has said it before, he just wants the comparisons to stop. Like Flight said Ant is his own player. What happened is the Minnesota defense turned it up and pressured Denver, Murray in particular. KAT force Jokic out of his lane comfort zone, and at the same time Denver's defense kinda fell apart with all the switching. Once Minnesota got hot in the 3rd it was over. The Wolves dispatched the Suns in four. Took 3 out of 4 games in Denver, where the Nuggets should have had a huge advantage. Beat the Nuggets in game 6 by 45 in Minnesota. The largest margin in playoff history and then go into game 7 and are down 20 early in the third quarter. Only to come back and beat the Nuggets in the largest come from behind victory in any game 7 in NBA history. The truth is. The Ref did call a few phantom fouls on the Wolves, but all in all were not much of a factor and let these guys play. The Wolves have the best defense in the league by everyone's admission. They shut the Nuggets down in the fourth and it appeared that this was all part of the plan. The Wolves cruised through the first half. Got it even in the third quarter and then shifted into another gear in the fourth quarter and the Nuggets didn't have the gas to keep up. Daily CT.
