I have been to Vietnam. Our guide told us to cross a street just walk. Do not hesitate, or go back. Just walk traffic will go around you. Then added " if you wait until the road clears you will be on the same block all day". I walked all over Hanoi that way. Never even had a close call

Luckily planes can fly with one engine, but they most likely ended up returning to the airport safely.

Yeah. Jet engines need a lot of airflow, so if there is e.g. something wrong with the fans, this happens. Often it stops when you turn the engine down to half-throttle (you can likely hear the pilots doing this) but I also think they eventually returned to have the engine inspected.

Sounds like someone who is disabled. Given it's a pharmacy and the person worrying about the store having too many people in it, the context does make sense. They are worried about getting sick and want to pick up meds at the drive up but aren't sure if they can pay the same way. Asking in the bathroom is weird but they probably just had to use it and saw the employee go in first.

I can actually confirm this as the only way to really cross the roads there. I was there in 2016 and if you just walk a slightly slower than normal pace, everyone will go around you as they aren't going super fast. It's a trip when you do it the first time.

Can confirm crossing a street in Vietnam was the scariest thing I have ever done. You have to blindly and confidently step in to on coming traffic and have faith that they will swerve to avoid you. With that said some of the best people I have met traveling anywhere.
