9:01 oh hell no, abyssmal take. Johto was never in the spotlight like other old gens, because most original pokemon fans started on gen 1 or 3. That just means people don't have nostaligia goggles on as tight for gen 2, it's not really objectively worse than 1 or 3, hell, it includes the entire kanto region and a chance to battle Red. It also is the only real sequel other than B2W2 that shows us the world of Kanto 3 years after Red's journey. Johto introduced multiple box legendaries, 2 new types, friendship, daytime mechanics, and a whole bunch of other cool stuff. Yeah the level curve is iffy, but Johto is honestly way underrated.
