It’s one thing doing crazy builds on a tried and proven platform with all the manufacturers R&D that went into the car and making a go cart into a death trap, walk away guys the owner has already took this to its limits.

I think this car would be a prime option to go bonkers with. You could do the offset control arms throw in a more modern drivetrain with a dog box tranny and make this a tire slaying demon all without destroying a piece of Lamborghini history but almost pay homage to it instead

I’m well aware it’s a kit car but it looks to be a hell of a lot better done than the fiero crap that used to come out. With that being said companies like factory 5 for example make kits of the iconic ac cobras and original ford gt40’s although they are not factory race cars people buy them and build them to do what other than pay homage to cars that they fell I love with as kids but could never afford the multi 100’s of thousands of dollars to millions that the real cars demand. If it’s done right it can pay homage to a car even if it had far more grass roots lineage. So yeah it’s a fake but a well done fake sans the boat anchor 350 under the rear glass 👍🏼

I used to own a Prova Countach so I knew immediately it was a kit. I actually spoke with the guy who built this car down in Texas for the film.... I wanna say Bill Kerr?? Something similar to that anyway. Great guy and a great sense of humor. He told me great stories about some of the behind the scenes moments in ITT.

Before you buy this, look at the price of this kits' body and ask your buddies at Hoonigan, or Aaron K. about the price for a propper chassis for what you really want to do, then full send it! Odds are that the kit was built with A LOT of kit compromises that YOU don't have to have. Tube chassis are a relatively inexpensive way to build exactly the kind of performance that you need/want. Please do not start with this kit that may be cool looking but is full of design features that you DO NOT want, and could instead get what you want at about the same price or cheaper. Ask any of the "Experts" that you work with. Aaron K, Alex at Gintani, etc. they will all tell you that you will get your best value and performance if you build your own chassis from scratch and put you Countach body on that. Much better for everything that you have expressed that you want to do. Of course if he is selling that kit at the price of the body alone...Thx.
