The pipe bomb was probably an accident. Under the right conditions, if you try to throw a bomb or Molotov off the roof of a building, it won't leave the roof, it will just hit the ground on the edge. I'm not sure if it's due to fencing and walls, but I have heard of players burning their base down trying it.

Riot police already get defeated, pushed back and pulled down by mobs and that’s with an enemy that feels pain and is put off by tear gas. Zombies would quickly overwhelm and rip apart a group of riot police. Especially if they’re flanked/not in a chokepoont

@@CountCalcium Police and army with more bullets than a whole city would be enough to clear zombies. Zombies are not one strong entity. A zombie apocalypse may destroy a lot of the harmless structures of society but the remaining survivors and the army making a base of sort far away to get ready and make a line of Guns to deal with zombies. It be easy.

I think you're imagining it like just a battle on an empty field or smth. you need to understand the big picture. Police would be overrun and destroyed almost immediately as they are first responders. Any who weren't killed at the start (out in the streets on patrol, first responders etc) will quickly find themselves being overrun as civilians flock to police stations for protection. Couple that with the fact that many would be worried for their families, and that as we've seen police are no where near elite killing machines (see, texas school shooting where literal dozens of them armed to the teeth were too pussy to stop a school shooting). As for army, depending on how the early days of an infection goes they may have a chance or simply get too stretched thin and depleted to really do anything.@@yuusha2150

Throwing bombs and molotovs off of building ledges or over tall fences does not work. So, don't throw them over the side thinking it'll drop down. It'll just fall at your feet. Which is what happened here most likely.

You should do this again, but make it like Battle Royal. Give the players a bottle of water, a loaf of bread, a map of the area, and “weapon” (anything from something legitimately dangerous, like a knife or gun or crossbow, to stuff that is useless like a pillow, a brick, a stun gun a pot lid, binoculars, etc. let your chat have funky h the most useless crap). Then let them leave one after another in two minute intervals and give them one day to prepare. Afterwards, I form them that in addition to zombies, they must kill each other. Last one standing is the winner.
