@Blueisoji Yes, but it won't fit your keyboard perfectly like doing a silicon mold would, that's why it's genius.

fun fact... old keyboard (prior and after early 2000s) used to always come with these silicons things out of the box (it would also be the spring of the button within these in some cases)

The mod isnt completely unheard of, there are even ones that come shipped with one like the nk65 or one if my favourite recent keyboard the ikki68 aurora. I also did it with my keyboard and can say it is very nice and pretty easy to do as long as you use the correct silicone

This is by far the most impressive before and after i have ever heard on a keyboard mod video. Typically the end result is not worth the work but i can see why this is. Also, your production quality, straight forward script, and calm demeanor indicate a channel miles ahead of where you currently are. The effort you put in shows and will pay off with results i'm sure of it. Keep up the good work man. Maybe try slowing down when you talk just a little bit though :)

To be honest, the total cost ended up being higher than $99 because of the extra stuff I used to make sure he liked it. But you can get a Keychron K2 and do these mods relatively easily by using less parts.

There's a problem that Keychron K2 using plate-mounted stablilizer so I believe that your band-aid and cliped almost means nothing. It only works for pcb-mounted stablilizer. You have to band-aid into you plate to make it more consistant. Anyway, still an amazing video men, Great editting and presentation.
