I mean no disrespect, but you built it wrong. The two pieces of foam that you showed were the hot-swap and soldered bottom foam. The mid/plate foam is a completely different foam. When assembling, you put the soldered bottom foam, which could cause some of the hot-swap sockets to pop off as they're being compressed by the foam. And, by using the soldered bottom foam, the typing experience might be a little bit stiffer as there is even more compression (as the foam is pressing against the hot-swap sockets).
