Something to consider: Smart soil means that there's a finite amount of nutrients for it's late stage growth. Without hydroponic nutrients, the older plant has a built in expiration date.

Numerous reviewers mention the flimsy plastic this unit is made of - not in line with the high price. It would be interesting to know if the Click and Grow 9, which holds 9 plants, is more sturdy. My conclusion is that the Click and Grow system is not sustainable in the long run due to the excessive cost of replacing the plant pods. I wish soneone would test these units with normal hydroponic growth medium and liquid fertilizer, which is slightly more effort, but gives one the freedom to plant whatever you want without being tied to Click and Grow’s ecosystem.

That you know, can I use another type of soil with a seed of my choice? I know it wouldn't be the same, because that of "click and grow" contains fertilizers, but who knows: maybe fertilizing it before using it, it could work the same. I have also tried looking for seedless compatible capsules, but nothing to do.

Hi! I saw on their site (clickandgrow.com) they sell experimental soil pods! They don't have seeds, so you can put what you want! :)

Bobos Curse 1) it wont look even closely nice 2) click and grow pods consists of smart soil. While normal soil will take a year to finish the click and grow will in just a minute. 3) this is made for people in the city that might not be able to craft stuff
