The visiting Heads of State to Mahama’s inauguration must desist from persuading him to forgive Akufo-Addo of his criminal mismanagement of Ghana. Akufo-Addo is not deserving of any reprieve. Kufuor, in particular, is notorious for intervening on behalf of his favorite NPP leaders who commit crimes against Ghana. The former incapacitated President is alleged to have saved the criminal Ken Ofori-Atta from jail after the Akyem Mafia member’s indictment for stealing from SSNIT over $5 Million. That failure to send Ofori-Atta to jail most likely emboldened him to lead their kleptocratic NPP Administration in committing the most horrendous heist against Ghana, to-date. There should not be any sentimental friendship references to induce Mahama to overlook the unprecedented criminal governance of the country by Akufo-Addo. All diplomacy must be set aside for Justice. Ghanaians will not accept anything less than pure, unadulterated Justice. If Mahama dances around this crucial national expectation, the Masses will make him pay for it before his tenure ends.
