Plus this was the worst lower bracket final ever. There wasn’t a fight. Look at fcking optic playing ice in their veins 5-11 to 15-13. Bittersweet. Happy that Zeta got to top 3, defying the expectations of many - and even their own since they only hoped to win one game. Sad that they had to go. The haven match was really close, if Marved didn't play like he was possessed by El Diablo's father - it might have gone Zeta's way but oh well. Props to ZETA, they had one hell of a run. But I genuinely believe this was a bad matchup for them. Optic is a team that has very set plays and counter plays, their playbook is extremely deep. Sort of like DRX but NA style. If it was PRX against OPTC I think they wouldve lost.

I really wanted ZETA to win Masters 1. However, looking at today's poor match results, I was convinced that "ZETA was lucky enough to become BEST3 this time." The Zetas play a normal Strat that can trust, but teamwork is good, but nothing beats Optic, which adapts well to playstyle. On the other hand, PRX is the best counter for Optic because it is difficult to read due to its ability to flag in an aggressive and unorthodox style. I only wanted ZETA to beat PRX. Because I knew that if there was a team that could win the optics, it would be a PRX. If the Japanese national team becomes ZETA again in the next Masters 2, it will never be the same as the main character of this tournament.

Loud's the "best counter" against Optic. PRX struggle against disciplined teams with proper spacing who know how to punish aggression. Case in point the losses against DRX and Zeta. A more methodical team like Optic would most likely be able to punish PRX's aggression. Optic's a team that likes to take map control and decide what to with the info gained from it. They struggle against more strategic teams like Loud who contest their map control to deny them info and utilize abilities to force them into disadvantageous aim duels.
