This is maybe the best anime ever. 何度も、何度もいっぱい泣いてたよ。2か3年ぶりでも涙が止まらないよ。This anime is also good for teaching children good things. It’s impeccable work of the highest order. Thank you thank you thank you to all involved 🙏🙏🙏

God, what an amazing episode. Hadlar went from a generic looking dark lord to being a GOATED character that deserves respect and praise.

Yes went from a bad villain to a true hero who even popp and dai considered him as their friend in his last moment 😢 RIP Hadlar 💔

It was incredible because it made sense. Hadlar and Avan have been archenemies for YEARS, there was already a level of respect there. Even when Hadlar seemingly KILLED Avan, once he developed and understood how important Honor was to a warrior, he regretted what he did. He didn’t ask for forgiveness, but to only die with honor. And once Avan returned from the “dead” and faced him one last time, he STILL kept his warrior personality and gave crucial, tough advice to Avan before he defeated KillVearn and passed away, his development was incredibly well done.

I didn't expect him to get character development when he was introduced.

If you read the prequel, about how Avan grew from a nameless soldier to a hero, Hadlar's personality is even clearer. Unlike his underlings, he doesn't ambush or use dirty tricks. He is both a cruel tyrant and a honorable warrior.
Now that the anime has ended I just wanna come back here and wish Hadlar his goodbye, this show had a lot of well written characters and I would say that Hadlar is one of the best written villains I've seen

Hadlar became one of the most redeemable villains I have ever seen in ages. The way they did this made me cry so much there is no words that help express the emotions I felt while watching it it. Hadlar is on par with Meruem of a villain who gains so much growth and development that it makes you question in the end if they were the hero of their story or still a villain. I will hold this scene in thigh regards for years to come and Hadlar has become one of my favorite characters in this series

There's a lot of villains who redeemed themselves. Saga from Saint Seiya killed himself to atonish for his sins, and also Nephrite from Sailor Moon gave up his life to save thst girl who had a crush on him.

I can think of two anime ones, but they probably predate you. Both could out shine hereos. Ashrum, Lodoss war. He killed the wizard at end, not tje hero, later he made a kingdom. And.... QUAKE WITH FEAR! Anubis, Ronin warriors. Evil, to monk, to hero, to death.
Espere 27 años para ver esta escena y no me decepciono !!!!

El manga ,lo único que todos van a criticar es el final
Hadlar was a tyrant, but at the end of the day he proved to be a hero in his own way. To that end I think towards the final inning Dai and the others stopped hating Hadlar for the atrocities he committed, but hated him righteously as an enemy they had to defeat. All in all rest easy Hadlar, your played your role well in this story🙂
Damn Hadlar is a legendary villain!! So much character development, he was an evil sadistic demon in the beginning and when he became a superior being he regained his honor and Pride as a Warrior. He fought Dai and his friends fair and square and even after he lost he still showed respect to his enemies! Few villains have his charm, R.I.P. Hadlar you won’t be forgotten.
