When you drop the hood you should really undo ALL the fasteners and put the rear screen under the folded hood, so it does not crease....and folds all the way down...at the very least you should undo each side to avoid damaging it. Really nice looking car with two good upgrades (rack and pinion and overdrive). I still think that these cars are grossly under rated. Take it all the way to 6,000 and feel the noise! From an owner who has had his since about 1974!

I was 16 in the 70s driving one of these - of course I had no idea what I was doing having got my license in an automatic - I was chugging up a steep hill slowly in top gear (should have been lower) and put my foot down - even in top gear it scared the hell out of me as it took off
