Worthy purchase for sure, potentially a life saver. One thing to note though ... in the height of summer on the NT - you'll get a proper sweat on whilst using the air bag 😉 not so bad on a naked bike with tons of airflow - but the NT, even with the screen down, is so damned effective at cosseting the rider from wind blast that you will feel a bit 'boil in the bag'. When it was over 25C this summer I got quite toasty on the NT whilst wearing my air bag vest with a fully mesh riding jacket, many icy cold drinkies were required, lol 😂 Import tax wise you're free and clear ... if there were any import taxes or duty owed you would have had to pay that to the courier before they would have delivered the item to you. My air bag came from Austria directly to my home but I bought it from a UK based company and so also avoided any import tax charges / duty.

I agree on all points. Safety takes many forms, sometimes not over-heating is the safer course. On the duty I'd also agree, if not for the fact I have received, by post, charges from HMRC in the past, after delivery. But here's hoping 🤞👍

Love my tech air 5 vest. Works well on all my bikes, including my zero electric bike. Im not sure yours would though given how you suggest it arms itself. Good on you for being proactive. I wish I'd been that clever.

They say it works on electric bikes until you stop. Then it disarms, until you get up to 6mph again. So no use at the lights without the vibes. Bit of an oversight, though okay on my Enfield 650. It has vibes. 👍

Cheers, appreciate the feedback. I'm hoping it won't get triggered though. 😉👍

Extremely expensive, but prices vary. Check Dainese web site for current price.
