Good evening sir, Sir my son is 4 years old. He is facing obstructive sleep apnea during sleeping. He is very restless at night after 2 hours of sleeping. he has masses in neck and adenoids hypertrophy and tonsillitis. I also use Metaspray last 2 month but not feeling well. Can you suggest me . What can I do ? Plz help

Two things you should do, first consult ENT specialist for adenoid surgery and pediatrician then sleep specialist for sleep study of your kid

At 25, I've been dealing with sleep apnea for a few years. My blood oxygen levels used to drop to 80-85% for extended periods during sleep. Recently, I took my condition seriously and self-diagnosed it, identifying obesity as a significant factor with a BMI of 32+. Over the past three months, through fasting and regular walking, I've lost 10 kg. Currently, my blood oxygen levels consistently remain above 90% during sleep, with occasional dips to 89% for a few minutes once a week. Although my BMI is still at 27, higher than ideal, I believe continued weight control could potentially lead to a complete and lasting cure.

@@RahulOwL7 Sleep apnea and insomnia are two different issues. But both of them can be easily cured (atleast in 90% cases) by simple lifestyle changes. If you want to know for sure if you have sleep apnea or not, sleep with a wearable sleep monitoring device or watch like Apple watch or galaxy watch and observe the blood oxygen level during sleep. If you have apnea then there with be sudden dips below 90% for extended periods which is not normal.

@@epictetus__ i don't have any device. Im skinny. I don't snore. I just wake up after 3-4 hours of sleep, then can't sleep again properly.

@@RahulOwL7 Do you take nap in afternoon after lunch? I had this problem before when I couldn't sleep for 6 or 7 hours at stretch during night. I used to wakeup at around 2,3,4am everyday (just after 2 or 3hours of sleep) for some reason or other like going to toilet or for drinking water. Now I sleep for 7,8 hours in a stretch during night because I don't take nap like before and changed my diet completely. Also I take Ashwagandha capsules during evening as it calms down the nervous system and take magnesium supplements too as it aids in sleeping, so you may try that as well👍

Sir mera raat ko sote sote sans ruk jata hai, sans v aisa rukta hai k dubara jaldi sans ni aattaa, mein bedroom se bahar khule mein baghta hu apna gla pakad k, phir 2/4 minute k bad pani peekar badi mushkil se mein thik ho pata hu, mein kya kru bada pareshan hu.
