Thank you very much for your constructive feedback. I'll make a video about feed additives in the near future. The next episode of the cattle ration formulation is scheduled to be released on January 24. To formulate a ration for a group of cows we need to consider the average production level for the group. Precision feeding systems are becoming more popular these days as these systems can feed individual animals and also record their data for robust and more accurate management. In some places, cows are being fed individually through these systems during the milking process. However, it is still possible to consider group feeding too.

I have several questions We did not take wheat or barley straw into account (nutritional value) Are there limits to the introduction of alfalfa hay or silage according to the stage of production? Is it possible to prepare a ready-made concentrated mixture with known analysis and control the missing quantity based on it? Are there recommendations regarding the increase in the prices of feed materials? For example, soybean meal in the early stage and then using cotton meal in the other stages Are particle lengths also recommended for hay and silage? What do you think of almond peels and wheat bran? In some areas, tree leaves such as mulberry, oak, etc. are used. What is your opinion? The last question concerns the transitional stage. Please provide recommendations regarding nutritional methods and the relationship with metabolic disorders?

I have made 4 episodes of cattle ration formulation and each episode is going to be published on my KZbin channel in weekly basis. I have introduced the manual formulation to show the fundamentals of ruminant ration formulation. I'll add creating the excel sheet on my list and will publish it on my channel/website.
