Daisy Chaining DMX

Yes I have a question. Why is there not a single video that shows us novices how to Daisy chain different lights and different addresses? And I'm not saying 2 fixtures, but 8, 10, or even 12.

When u daisy chain 2 lights do you need terminator? I’ve been seeing lots of video and some people say yes others say no

If you run the master to a DMX controller, can you change the individual lights (that are daisy chained to the master) to its own program/light color?

Does chaining just affect the program? Are they each plugged in to a power source separately?

Once they are all links with DMX cabling you can use a controller or assign one light as a master to control the other ones with built in programs.

You can. They just need to be on different DMX addresses.

I thought u had to set them in the same address in order to function on slave mode with the others for example I have two RGB spiders and two stage RGB will the move along in same adddres slave mode

Ramon Loera if you are using in slave mode you are exactly right leave them on 001
