About Daisy Jones & The Six: In 1977, Daisy Jones & The Six were on top of the world. Fronted by two heat seeking missiles in Daisy Jones and Billy Dunne, the band had risen from obscurity to fame. And then, after a sold-out show at Chicago's Soldier Field, they called it quits. Now, decades later, the band members finally agree to reveal the truth. This is the story of how an iconic band imploded at the height of its powers.

I dont think people give sam enough credit, Riley is freaking awesome but sam is the heart of the show, Riley is in the main frame but sam is spice and honestly he's been many book adaptation movies like love rosie, hunger games, me before you he's even been in enola holmes and still doesnt get enough credits as his other costars and its kinda sad. He's an excellent actor when billy was coming out of rehab and grahm was telling him about his daughter the way he broke down it literally shatters you seeing that emotion. And now he's singing and acting and his voice and singing is just good as Riley. Anyways all of them are really great and i think camilla really captured the soul of camilla from book, she looks so kind, loving and beautiful just as in book. ❤

I binge watched all three episodes and I can’t wait for more. This is one of the best scenes so far, Watching these 2 be introduced and starting to argue / collaborate from the beginning. Billy’s song needed polishing and Daisy is totally right. I love how Teddy’s intention is to get these two together and see what happens. He knows the song is good but not good enough and Daisy is the person to help make it great.

Watched all 3 episodes. 👍🏼🙌🏼 Riley steals the show. The girl can sing and act. Sam is good as Billy, but he does get out-shine by Riley. Maybe that's why he was chosen to play Billy.

I loved these episodes so much, I ordered the book. I had to see how it ends. I read the book in 2 days. It took 2 days because it got delivered late. I opened it around 5pm and kept reading until 2 the next day. With a 6 hour sleep break. (I’m on a break from work) Loved the book so much. The series takes some liberties but is pretty faithful so far. It’s a great book and great story. The actors and direction are great.

Great casting…but my main concern about the show is the "drug" aspect that has been lowered waaaaaay too much. When you read the book, you truly feel that addiction, creativity and confrontation are strong themes that TJR wanted to point out…unfortunately I think the druggy/addiction aspect being diluted affects some scenes of the show and characters, especially Daisy! Also, can’t laugh enough to see a band called the Six…with only 5 members 😂 It’s not a bad show, it does have charisma, but really needs to step up in the writing department imo.

For younger fans of the show who would not be familiar with the pre Fleetwood Mac era,, I do suggest that you all listen to the "Buchingham / Nicks" album. (Before they joined Fleetwood Mac). The music there is identical.(The Buckingham / Nicks album is from 1973. It has a black and white picture of the two on it ). I'm lucky enough to have both the vinyl (bought in 1973) and the CD (bought around 2017).

Very cool show/book concept, only critique is that the music sounds quite a bit like modern folk and doesn’t really have the “it” factor that late 70s folk rock did. They definitely had to make the soundtrack appealing to modern kids but I think they should’ve taken a risk and gone with a more CSN, Linda rondstat, mama and papas laurel canyon-esque sound for the music

I did not see any audience Corina. What I saw were four band members who worked just as hard to make the band successful as the two of them. In my opinion Daisy was being dismissive of Billy's bandmates who by the way had been with him longer and especially for someone who was joining the band for the first time. Sometimes a little consideration and respect does not hurt.

I’m just gonna be honest.. Riley doesn’t give me Daisy Jones vibes at all. Daisy is supposed to be a badass that blows everyone away by simply just being present, but in this series she comes across as a sweet and innocent country girl (the clothes are not it I’m sorry) that smiles all the time. I do however understand that it’s hard to find a perfect Daisy Jones, but Riley’s acting could’ve been more directed towards that badass attitude and she could’ve acted like she is actually under the influence, because no offense - her visible addictions are nonexistent in her acting. Speaking of Riley’s acting; her acting skills. I think Riley is a wonderful person (saw some of her interviews), but her acting is.. well.. unconvincing, unbelievable and unmoving. It doesn’t do anything to me and I don’t feel her emotions through the screen. All of this being said, I still really enjoyed the episodes that are out and I think they did a very good job!
