This is the full version of my daisy petal flower wreath tutorial made with deco mesh.
Supplies used for this wreath:
1 10 inch box wire wreath frame
Rotary cutter
Cutting mat
Pipe cleaners
Plastic canvas - can use pipe cleaners or zip ties to attach
Felt and zip ties to cover the back (optional but recommended)
I use 10 inch mesh for the outer leaves to reduce fraying so 1 roll of lavender in 10 inch.
1 21 inch roll purple
1 21 inch roll white
1 21 inch lavender for inner petals (or another 10 inch if you don't think you'd use the leftover, that's up to you)
1 21 inch roll of yellow
The 10 inch mesh for the leaves is cut at 10 inches long, so they will be 10x10 pieces.
I cut the 21 inch mesh 10 inches long, then flip it sideways and cut it in half at the 10.5 inch mark. The half of a inch won't make a difference when folding the petals. Getting the 21 inch rolls will save a few dollars on the project.
Outer ring: not used
2nd ring in: 30 petals (purple/white) with leaves attached
3rd ring in: 25 petals (purple/white)
Center ring: 14 petals (lavender/white)
Center of frame: 13 petals on plastic canvas (yellow/yellow)
I purchase my supplies from

Thanks Bunches for the Great Tutorial!! Your wreath is Beautuful!!! Now I finally know what to do with the mesh I have😃 One idea for waste from the petals is to donate to local grade school, daycare or Brownie troop. Little ones love gluing anything lol. If they're older they could practice some "stitching". That's what I've done in the past w/ my extra craft supplies. Thanks again & Many Blessings.

I’ve been following you and wreath creators and when I saw your picture of this wreath, I stopped dead in my tracks and HAD to watch it! I LOVE that you listed every piece of materials you used in the description box rather than us having to remember or write down the instructions as you go. How very helpful! New sub and following your expertise. Purple is my FAVORITE color! The yellow center is what makes this pop! Just an idea....if you left the tail in front, wouldn’t it make for a different looking petal? Yes pre-making the petals beforehand would be more effective in not only consistency but they are all ready to go when attaching to your wreath frame. Thank you SO much for this BEAUTIFUL idea! ❤️🎀❤️🎀

I’ve been using tiny hair rubber bands. It works really well instead of the pipe cleaner I see you attach with the pipe cleaner
@Cromwell218
@Cromwell218 4 жыл бұрын
If you want to make them all at once the bands are good. Then you can attach them all at one time
@JKatsKreations
@JKatsKreations 4 жыл бұрын
Tell me more about this! I understand using the rubber bands to secure the petal, but how are you using it to attach to the frame?
@MissMala
@MissMala 2 жыл бұрын
The bad thing about the rubber bands though, is that over time they kind of deteriorate and break in half. It's weird. I've used them on some projects and it's very frustrating.
