Bought this pistol over 11 years ago. At the time, I used it and got the CO2 leak. Never used it again. Just put it in a box and forgot about it until yesterday. Almost tossed it until I saw your video TH3C001. Used the Teflon tape and just fired about 60 shots. No problem. Thanks so much for posting. Don't despair over any insulting comments, especially since you're giving this info away for FREE. I would caution others about the screw at the end of the barrel though. As I backed it out, the barrel end and two inner springs shot out. Fortunately, they're big enough to find quickly. WELL DONE!

great video,solved my problem first time.i did it in half the steps .open it up remove the case the co2 sits in then remove the fake hammer piece.carefully wiggle out the back peice.teflon the cap, screw it back in ,wiggle it back into position and your done.reasemble the co2 carrier put barrel and bb springs back in and screw it back together.also double up a peice of teflon tape put it over a new co2 and put it in.makes for a perfeclty sealed unit.thanks again for the video.

Thankyou so much for the help man! this totaly fixed the problem. I found my gun a few days ago behind a convience store here in north carolina. I'm guessing some kids were shooting bottles cause there was busted btotles everywhere and then I saw the gun laying there, and later found the bbs for it. I guess whoever had it threw it down because it was leaking air. now I am shooting it, and it works great!

My gun hadn't been used very much, but it still developed the leak. I followed your videos and got mine fixed perfectly. I used the teflon tape too, and the leak is completely sealed. Thanks a lot!

Great Job, Just borrowed the 15xt to chase squirrels on my property, and guess what happened when I reloaded the co2 cyl, it leaked out of the top of the gun, Followed your instructions it is working fine now, thanks, you saved me from replacing the gun:))

My Dad gave this to me over Christmas break because of the leak. Figured there was a way to fix and this surely did it. I went the teflon tape route. Someone else suggested using Locktite which I wouldn't recommend as that would prevent further access from the other parts in the gun. Your fix worked like a charm. Thanks!

The barrel and loader springs will fly out when the front screw is removed if you don't hold on to the barrel end piece. Make sure to hold onto it as you remove the screw and have the barrel pointed away from you.

Good idea, I've also thought to use that 3-in-1 oil in the white bottle with a red cap, but actual grease is the best. But on some air guns like the Daisy 105 Buck it actually "asks" for oil. But for something like this, yes, some grease would be best.

I have one of these pistols. I like it but it does have an air leak. At the moment it doesn't for some reason and I surmised that this pistol is fitted for certain CO2 cartridges. It's a very complicated gun and I don't like springs popping out everywhere been there done that with carburetors LOL so it looks like if I get into that cylinder and put that plumbing tape on that should stop the leak.

My Dad bought me an original Daisy Power line Model 92 CO2 pellet gun in 1987-88 , loads in a tube from the front , that I'm working on fixing at the moment .

I have no idea if it will, but if you can take it apart without losing any pieces and get a good look at where everything goes then it should be a piece of cake to fix.

Maybe in some cases, but for me, it was specifically an internal leak. I know that there is a common problem with the CO2 canister leaking around the fitting, but mine has never done that, although I hear the Crossman P10s do that a lot due to dried up seals.

I just took the screws out split the gun, tightened the valve screw and put back together in about 5 minutes. Problem solved. You can get to the screw without taking all those parts out.

@illwillification Hmm, I dont own that model, so i'm not sure what help I could offer. I do know however, that if you are gifted with a natural talent for being able to take things apart and put them back together the way they go, then you might be able to fix it. When doing this video, I had only taken my gun apart for the first time 30 min before filming. So if you're like me, you can probably get it on your own. Good luck, and try not to break or lose anything, sometimes I do. :)

Yup, just as recent as four days ago I had to crack open the very same on in this video to fix the leak that had returned. I don't mind the problem, since I'm able to fix it I shouldn't mind in the first place.

All I can find is that 15XK is associated with some sort of kit that includes the 15XT, shooting glasses, some CO2, a couple targets, and some BBs.

If it fits I don't see why not. I know Daisy makes their own CO2 cartridges but I only ever found Crosman cartridges so those were the only ones I ever used. Seems like once I misplaced this pistol and got bored of BB guns I started seeing the Daisy cartridges every time I was in the area lol, figures.

How would I know if my 15XT is leaking CO2? Mine works fine for the most part, but seems to lose its gas power a little too quickly. I also noticed a little bit of moisture or condensation on the inside part of the trigger after firing. Is it leaking?

Regular Teflon made for faucets and other fittings. Could use the yellow stuff for gas application. Next time I might want to use acrylic or silicone sealant.

I would say your gun is leaking. For mine, it leaked from the internal tank at the rear,, the most common apparently. I knew because it had gotten so bad that CO2 shot out in a visible stream. It wouldn't hurt to take yours apart and tighten things up, check stuff out, only if you feel comfortable though.

WD-40 is an oil not a lubricant. The best thing to use would be something like lithium grease

Well, I'd open it up like in this video, carefully, and lube all the moving parts with WD-40 or 3-in-1 oil and close it back, then see what happens.

Hi George... I just used this video for the 2nd time in 2 years to fix my Daisy Air Gun. As TH3 explains in the video, it is about correcting for the CO2 escaping from the top back end. If your leak is at the puncture pin assembly, there is a small seal there that may need to be replaced. Think you can order it from Daisy for something like 50 cents.

Mine only lasted through about 5 or 6 CO2 cannisters before it started leaking. The procedure isn't really that hard. Only two tools needed.

You do not need to pull you gun apart like that, the problem is the seal around the co2 bottle.

If you know how to take it apart and put it back together you know where or how to find the leak. I repaired my leak. These videos worked great for everyone else to repair their leaks. Glad you enjoyed the sound of my aquarium.
