@AG Coarseman I've seen Daisy Ridley in other things. She's a good actress. I think that's the only reason why in Force Awakens, she made Rey somewhat likeable in the general sense of the word. Sadly she couldn't do anything in Last Jedi. And she seems like she doesn't have too much of an ego. Brie Larson is offputting because of her arrogance. It comes through into her acting - and it's hard to judge because Carol is such a wooden character. But she's instantly unlikeable. Not sure about John Boyega (Finn) as an actor, as I haven't seen him in anything else. Oscar Isaac (Poe) is just okay; but I've never thought he's anything special in the acting world. I see him as the same kind of average as Hayden Christenson. Yet Isaac gets accolades all the time for some reason. So some people really like him.

I re-watched the rise of skywalker. And yes, it's not perfect but it's there. It's part of the storyline. And she portrayed it well given the script.
