I LOVED Mario kart, still do. But for my eighth birthday my parents got me Mario Kart Wii, and I played it NONSTOP. Maybe less than a month after I got it, I found it on top of the TV stand chewed to bits😭. There were Pieces all over the carpet and under the TV. Our, then 2 year old puppy (now like 6 or 7), had gotten a hold of the disc because I left it out on top of the PRETTY HIGH TV stand. I cried. and my parents blamed me (I mean it was my fault) and they never got me another Mario Kart. 😭😭 IT was the exact same disc in this video...

Me too, I actually found those Columbine guys' custom WADs on DOOM 2 when I was around 12-- the levels were vapid garbage. They died as they lived, complete losers. Mario Kart Wii Online was for everybody though. Facing the late night Asia players was like competing in the Olympics!
