I would never have tried pattern matching that bird, but you pulled it off smashingly!

Aw thank you! Sometimes it's fun to be a little nutty on attempting something!

That was fun to watch, but I'd like to know how you drafted your pattern, or where you got it from, and more details on the instruction.

Hi Erica! One of the reasons I launched Patreon was to develop the resources to create a corset making course which would teach the full instruction of creating a corset. If you'd like to be part of the course's development, or even just get a few more ala carte tips and tricks, you will be very welcome! If you want to wait for a course to be developed, you are welcome to join my mailing list, and I will announce when it is available for sign up. (links to Patreon and mailing list are in the video description)

Thanks for sharing! I’ve only seen multi layer corsets constructed by sewing each layer and then sewing all the pieces together. I love the sandwich method with the waist tape added in the process. Makes sewing a lined corset seem less daunting.

That is some crazy construction method!! Amazing, I might have to try it with one of my new patterns

Daisy Viktoria Åh... 😅 I wanted to get my hands on a different kind of brocade fabric. But I live in Sweden, so that’s a bummer! 😂 thanks for your reply, you made a lovely corset! I’m making a few from the late 1800’s myself for back pain relief and they work just great! Hence my search for fabrics used. 😁 (Ingen fara! Ta hand om dig! 🤍)
