Daiwa Fuego LT 4000D-C Review - 2024 Early Season Shad Fishing Bonneville Dam Washington

Bought a new Daiwa Fuego LT 4000D-C reel and paired it with a Okuma Celilo 8ft6in 8-17lbs medium light action rod. Took it to Bonneville Dam for some early season shad fishing to test it out.

I’ve used this and the Daiwa Laguna as well for Surf Perch fishing and they endure the salt well! 2 seasons already for the Laguna and 4 for the Fuego. I can’t recommend this reel enough for its value. Solid for Salmon as well

I was there today, I can actually see myself in the last part of the video! I got there at about 930am and left at 1pm. I landed 31, I must have been lucky! Actually I can see my car parked up near the grey van at 14:45 in the video.

Sweet reel. I got it for $10 less than you 🥳. I had the handle fall off in transport and it took me a while to figure out to reverse thread it back on.
