Awesome vid. Sunline is thinner than Power pro of the same size with equal strength but, 150 meter of Sunline will break the bank. Lol. Lexa spinning is a great reel.

I bought a brand new Lexa spinning 4000SH, quite smooth, but the bail doesn't have that high end solid clicking when open and close. that's the only down fall of this reel. seems like it will trip on you when casting hard. that's if I just got the bad one. I manually close and open my bails always. quality wise is ok for a $100 reel. I'll rate it 7 out of 10 for reels under $150 dollars. some of my other cheaper Daiwa reels have the soild clicking bail which feels better while casting. I still like my shimano spheros fa/fb better though. just my 2cents.

I hear you there. I didn't see this prob with my 2500SH the bail was pretty solid and clicked over really nice.. Where did you buy it?

i bought it from Ebay. Now that since you said that its clicks over, I must've got one that the seller was tripping the bail while turning the handle. What can i do about this? the bail close hard, but it opens like a cheap used shakespare reel. not very solid nor strong when opening the bail. I took it apart, but don't see any problems. I emailed daiwa and they say, send it to them, but i'm not going to spend another $80 on a replacement bail. I dont mind buying the parts and fixing it myself cause its a piece of cake. Thanks for the reply.

The drag after 2yrs felt crappy I replaced it with a better 1 for $7 that was the only thing I had a problem with so no I didn't really have any downfalls with it

Its plastic but its actually nice has a fine texture to it

Does it really have w waterproof drag. I know on the Procyon it does but I read the lexa doesn't . I hope your right because the lexa seems so much nicer. But I need the waterproof for when I wase
