I have an older Version. Think from 2017. Rod is still great, reel is ok but could be better. For me, it is not smooth enough. And the line was garbage. Currently I use it with a slightly better reel and a good line and it is a lot better than my telescope travel rod.

@@vega21 not silly at all, it's a thinner line, less visible. I figure most trout are under 5 lbs, at least where I fish.

@@GSDubz yah same most around here are 2-5 lbs if that. I use a pickeral rig with size 6 hooks and they work fine. Been looking into spooling one of my other ultra light rods. Gonna go 4 lbs test 2 lbs leader or something
