That is shown in the video as well. There is an indentation in the side of the dawg where it rests

Hi Dennis, I enjoy watching your videos and I have learned a lot. i’m currently servicing my Penn Squiter 140. The bearings need replacing I’m experiencing trouble removing the bearings. Any suggestions would help. Can you advise what size bearings does this real need.

First - get the schematic t see that the bearing has a top washer that also sits in the cavity. You have to remove that washer, which is a tight fit, to get to the bearing. Once the washer is out, the bearing is easier to remove. I use a pick I got from a set by Harbor Freight. IT has a 3/4 circle on the end. I put the point under the washer and then lever it against the side. I've had dood luck doing it that way. I don't know the size of the bearing, but you can get that information and the bearings by contacting Mysticparts.com. They are an authorized Penn Parts distributor. Interesting. The shockwave I tried to service had a plastic crosswind block whereas this one had a metal block.

It could be the version. I think this one is the 2500B It is possible that the earlier model used plastic - Dennis

Hi Dennis. I've got an old Diawa AS4050 that I bought at a pawn shop. It's missing the anti-reverse claw plate and the anti-reverse lever. Do you by chance have these two items you would consider selling? Thanks for your time. By the way the main shaft is held in by 2 c-clips, never seen one like that before.

You are out of luck. That claw plate was the weakness of the reel and they have long been unavailable. Sorry - Dennis

Good evening. I have a daiwa shock 2500 and the anti reverse isn't locking how can I fix it

I don't have a video on that one, but the set up should be similar to the crossfire in this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/Znu2o2RsZsydp7c. The A/R clutch usually fails because the inner sleeve gets oil, dirt oe grease on it and the roller bearings cannot grip it to stop the reel. (I am assuming that this reel has the instant anti-reverse, but it is possible that you have the older dog set up. If you do, it may be a broken spring - Remover the rotor to have a look - Dennis

Maybe you stopped the camera and I missed it, and I can’t tell when you spun the rotor. But you may have missed the rotor nut locking screw?
