Wow they look terrific, I like the idea of a built in scent and if the softer feel can still translate to endurance then they should be dynamite. I was also interested in your mention of a Berkley grub, they are the king of scent attractant however their lures are typically very fragile, I will give them a go with hopes of increased durability. I was recently leaning up my late FiL fishing gear, he was in his 90's and fished most of his life, but gave it up about 20 yrs ago due to selling the boat. So what did I find in his ancient tackle box ?...... a 3 pack of red Original Mr Wrigglers. I'll try them one day.

Hey Byron, I saw that you had the curl tail down wards is this how you are supposed to rig grubs? Have I been doing it wrong all this time with the curl up? Does it make a difference?

It could, but nah mate - I rig them down, others go the other wat. It really doesn’t matter in my opinion

Gulp crabby camo, dont know what it is about that colour but they always perform when i use them in virtually all water colours so i am not surprised that the camo works well. One small bit of feedback and it might just be me but your volume difference between talking and music seems off, was finding i was turning the volume up and down a lot. Love your videos mate cant wait to see some more on the new daiwa stuff.

Sounds like a pretty one sided review unfortunately. You say your not sponsored but you also say that daiwa give you a lot of free stuff to review. You mention thats the path you want to take your channel so naturally your going to give thier product a positive review to keep daiwa on side. To base anything off catching a pb fish is irrelevant. A one off occurrence like that can have many variables in play including, right place right time. If you were using a zman or any other grub at that particular time would you have still got that fish to bite? It would be a different story if you were catching your pb fish on multiple trips toprove consistency. As for cutting the grub to make a 2inch lure eliminating the need of a 2inch pack, i would have thought you would of notived that 2inch grubz have a much slimmer profile. This changes everything from bait size presentations to sink rates. The 2 inch grubz is still key.

Hey Luke!, thanks for the comment - I’m sorry you feel that way. Truely, just trying to keep it positive and talk about my experience with the items. You mention a couple good points so I’ll mention them. 1. Daiwa sent me a 6 packs of grubs to review. ~ $66. That ain’t a sponsorship. I thank them for giving me the opportunity to create some content. In the interest of transparency, I understand you are with Tackle Tactics, the same group that import ZMAN, and would have a bias against my review, I’m not naive, I understand. 2. ZMAN are awesome, I’ve not got many videos on here, but in at least two of them I’m creaming fish with ZMAN. I don’t think I say enough in the video about how good ZMAN are. 3. Like I said, fished for about a month with them, that for me means about 6-8 trips with consistent fish, and consistent size. I know I don’t address all your concerns, but I am sorry you didn’t enjoy the video Luke. I hope I can provide you with some content you’ll enjoy in the future. Byron

You mention daiwa vs zman grub, however you say yourself that your reviewing the daiwa product. So its not really a vs or comparison video. If you say your reviewing the daiwa grubs then you can make the review as one sided as you like and doesn't look biased at all. Cheers
