Awesome video mate! would you use this same technique around pontoons or open water. Or best results for crabs around big structures like bridges?
@ByronTeaHill4 жыл бұрын
Certainly would Ryan. Bridges are like the ol faithful for me. Also love poles.

Very informative vid bud. What rod are u using for the crabs
@ByronTeaHill4 жыл бұрын
Hey Andrew, thanks for the comment - I use a 788MML Daiwa rod that was originally designed for crabs.. I like the way it can peg the lure. whatever choice you go with yuo want to make sure you have a long rod, that will help with cast distance

You mention getting the line right to prevent it from pulling the crab. What line a lb test for the cranka please? Thanks

ByronTeaHill Are you using straight mono or spinning fluoro carbon ? Thanks .
@ByronTeaHill4 жыл бұрын
Using braid and fluff. Some guys like straight through FC, but that’s never really worked for me
@davemiff69984 жыл бұрын
cool video mate, still getting my confidence up with them so this helped a lot. i find slowing down and giving them time just to chill out on the bottom the hardest bit. I've noticed you counting out loud a few times now just to slow it down so I'm going to start doing that. what comes after three though?? i can't remember ;)
@ByronTeaHill4 жыл бұрын
Dave Miff Yeah I’m a counter... probably a sign of narcissism or something weird. Find it really helps me visualise / imaging what the lure is doing.
