Tanimura’s fighting style is officially confirmed to be Taiho Jutsu. Remember he is a cop. All Japanese police are trained in Taiho Jutsu. It’s a Japanese martial art made to subdue people. Combines Akido, Judo, JuJutsu and Kendo. Though, JuJutsu is the main base of the art.

I agree with everything except the plot. The conspiracy of 1985 is a good plot point, but the way it's handled...stupid rubber bullets, characters leaving baddies with guns near them, chronic backstabbing, Arai and Kido being iconsistent in their actions...the list goes on and on.

The faces are pretty hilarious. Wouldn't list it as a negative. The plot on the other hand.. They ruin a great, emotionally charged scene with Saejima in the coliseum with one fucking line... "Rubber bullets"

It's not as powerfull when all the pain you've gone through gets invalidated because we can't have our sweet main characters carry real burdens that make it difficult to identify them on a moral binary.

It's quite hard to pull it off. The enemy must really close to Tanimura. And make sure the heat gauge is still filled.

You get all characters in the coliseum by playing the original Yakuza 4 exclusively on the PS3 it's called Underground Coliseum SP Battle King Championship
