AsSalamu A'laykum. The first meaning of DaJaLa is about a flood recovering a land / or / the oil beduin used to put in camel wound. Semantically, Dajjal has a meaning closed to a Cyclone, ATTRACTING powers, and concentrated. The meaning "deciever" it's a contextual new meaning added due to tasfir and islamic creed, apparently.

We have to believe in it as it is a matter of unseen. Allah knows how because Allah says in the Quran that take wahatever the Messenger gives you meaning that accept whatever the Messenger tell you even if it doesn't makes sense because the Messenger says whatever is revealed to him from Allah through angel Gabriel.

Issa alayhi salam, is a Prophet, Dajjal doesn't have anything to do with Issa or being a Prophet. He is a human being, to whom Allah granted some powers, why and how, we don't know and if the Prophet SAWS didn't speak about it, we don't need this info. Dajjal will be killed by Issa alayhi salam, a the end. What we need to know is what D. Bilal said. You could also check the mercifulservant video about this subject too.
