Thou you liar. That scholar Abdulla has fallen down the mask and opened the box of the Pandora with that Hadith, while the true word of the real God is the bible. What does that mean that the Mahdi will destroy blasphemie. He will not only destroy symbolismen like the cross, but also his followers who are believing in Jesus Christ, the real Messia and son of God, what is blaphemie for the Mahdi and the Islam. Islam an evil construct of the devil, who try to destroy his enemy Jesus, his followers the christians and the jews because Jesus is a descendant of that people,. What is this supposed to tell you? Perhaps we have already been deceived by a deceptive system that is most likely headed by a group ruling our world today, whose leaders were all mini deceivers and the final deceiver will be the final Dajjal who can show up anytime now. Submit and be prosperous, rebel and be destroyed. That sounds familiar, doesn't it.

Is it not the case that It is Angel Gabriel(peace be pin him) that blows the soul into every human Animal and then this human animal truly becomes a human. So is the antichrist pulling out the soul and reinserting it or is he merely creating an illusion thru something like a matrix or artificial intelligence(robot)? Just a thought What if Dajjal is just a metaphorical term and since Dajjal sees only through one eye, does it mean seeing through a turn of events only from one perspective ? The actual reason we have 2 eyes is so that we can see in 3 dimensions and if we only had one eye, like Dajjal, we could not see the third dimension without having to move. So the second eye means a second perspective. And since we say Dajjal would establish chaos in this world, chaos would be established if we start looking at events only from the perspective of one people (hence the one eye metaphorical term), and not through other people's perspectives (seeing with the second eye). If we start seeing through other's perspective (the second eye), only then true peace would be established in this world.

Read Surah Al Kalf ch 18 carefully,. It tells us who is the Dajal. The HP(saw) is reported to have said reading of the first and last 10 verses of Surah Kalf protects one against the onslaught of the Dajal.

Paul - hope you can have a scholarly discussion about the wisdom behind the severed lineage of Jesus a.s (created without a father) and its divine motive in shaping the escathological future. This is a very important topic and I really appreciate the input on it. Unfortunately, a good example emerges here of how the idea that Dajjal is actually using tricks and technology (which is very likely) or is not human at all stems in part (!) from a psychological state that is dominant in people with a general tendency towards conspiracy theories. This tendency leads to a preference for views that deviate from the mainstream because this better reflects the epistemic, existential and social motives of conspiracy believers. Only here the cat bites its tail: the texts on Dajjal encourage critical thinking, but belief in conspiracy theories correlates with lower levels of analytical thinking (Swami, Voracek, Stieger, Tran, & Furnham, 2014) and lower levels of education (Douglas, Sutton, Callan, Dawtry, & Harvey, 2016). It is also associated with a tendency to overestimate the likelihood of co-occurring events (Brotherton & French, 2014) and a tendency to perceive agency and intentionality where these are not present (Douglas et al., 2016).

I'm a Muslim and I love Paul and Dr. Ali but there are a lot of huge issues that were lumped into this talk as if they are settled fact that made me feel uncomfortable. These conspiracy theories about Covid and climate change being bundled into the talk is disconcerting. Not to say that there might not be some truth to these theories and fears but talking about it so dismissively is not helpful to anyone and makes me doubt the fact-checking of Dr. Ali in general.

IMHO and unless I can be convinced - note I am no scholar - I suspect the hadith on dajjaal are largely figurative. I suspect we can all easily compare these hadith to several experiences today. In addition, can anyone understand and explain Allah swt bestowing a person with these powers of miracles simply to increase fitnah? Surely human beings and shaitan are already doing the job? Ultimately, the message is to have strong certainty in our aqeedah and strengthen our iman irrespective of the zeitgeists of the day. If the hadith are literal, then I'm still watching. Ya Allah, please keep our focus on you and guide us to the straight path, protect us from evil and keep evil away. Free us from oppression and have mercy upon us...
