I was sad to see it go, but it was time to let someone else enjoy it.

Everyone and everything has a price. Everyone knows what things sell for online. When the money is right, it's time to sell.

Yea,i sold my DAK X in pretty decent condition to Ken the rotor guy in ala.I know the feeling.

I didn't really use it much, but I still wish I hadn't sold it 😭... but I did end up making a couple real quick videos of it just before he got here and bought it. I will post them in a little while.

I honestly can't believe you sold that gorgeous radio. The only reason I didn't buy one a few years back was I couldn't find ANYONE willing to work on it if something went wrong with it.

Tubes, transistors, resistors, diodes, etc.... are all the same. It doesn't matter what brand radio those parts are in, either you know how to work on electronics or you don't.

@@bigcbradio I was thinking the same thing but every single shop I contacted within 250 miles radius said they wouldn't touch it. Still scratching my head on that one.

@@PhoenixRising251 Some shops only wanna do the easy mods that make em good money. Other shops only know how to do a few things they learned by watching someone and they aren't really techs. I work on all my own stuff so I do understand that sometimes it takes a long time to diagnose and repair stuff even when you do know what you are doing. How can you charge someone many hrs labor plus parts on a radio that is cheaper to just replace? That's why I don't do repairs for customers, I just have fun fixing/tuning my own.
