I get a bit concerned when either of the guys take on a case alone, but at the same time... I can't exactly blame Sam for not trying to call Dean in. He'd been keeping him up to date and Dean had made it VERY clear with his mannerisms that he didn't care. Sam outright asked him to come help him with this one and Dean told him no. Now maybe if Sam had called him again and mentioned Abaddon, Dean would have changed his mind, but at the same time, Sam didn't know for sure that Abaddon was even there, just that she was somehow connected. And the longer he waited the more people might fall victim to what was going on. (And even though Illinois isn't THAT far from Kansas, it would still be a good bit of a drive. At best, Dean wouldn't have gotten there until sometime the next day.) So, I get why he figured he just needed to go in and deal with it himself. And as we saw, he did take a few precautions. I loved seeing Henry again, and it was neat seeing how Abaddon wound up possessing Josie. (I doooooon't think getting through to Josie would be much of an option now though... considering last season they kind of cut her up into pieces AND she got set on fire with holy oil and burnt to a crisp during the finale. The demons were able to restore the body, but Josie herself would definitely be dead by now.) I fell a bit behind in your reactions but I'm working on catching up! I am definitely enjoying them though, and I'm sure you're going to find the remainder of this season interesting. :)

I had forgotten about this ep as well, as I couldn't recall how Abaddon got a foothold into Josie in the first place... appreciated the into of what Ab was up to back in the day/now in the day with stealing souls to create an army..... and some more creepy Crowley up to no good as usual, and some jumpy Dakara as well..... (but sadly no overt thirsting..lol) great stuff as always, D! keep em coming!

Abbadon would have just slaughtered Henry and the rest of them right there, I mean talk about a ambush you couldn't avoid, since it would still be at the last second. Also Abbadon would have killed Henry first since he's the threat, then go back with the memories of her body, and boom total change to history indeed...

Dean and Crowley are best bitch friends and you can't change my mind on that lol Anyway you are in for a ride when you get to the finale, I wanted to throw everything and hopefully so will you. I would have liked more of Jossie, like her life and motivations and how she came to be part of the Men of Letters like I don't think it was easy for a woman at that time to get in... she was amazing and so brave to do what she did. Also, can I say I love your little jumps? They are cute and kind of funny xD o/°

I haven't watch the second half of S9 in years, but now, rewatching it with you I just realize about the parallels and Dean's hipocrecy~ I'm talking about Demon!Blood Sam comparing it to Mark Of Cain Dean

you can’t compare a great piece of Dean’s soul burned away which finally showed in this episode(which there isn’t way for that piece to return)with Sam’s demon blood which he could chose not to drink and he would be safe

@@Michael-qc2xs he thought he had to!without drinking it,he would be completely normal and the same old while Dean lived with his decision and he was normal until the mark activated,and in this episode when the effects of the mark became obvious!and maybe it's parallel to demon blood but Dean before got effected by the mark still wasn't this kind of determined to kill Abaddon and could work as a normal hunter and calling him hypocrite is stupid!after getting effected there wasn't going back for him,the burned part of soul wasn't gonna come back means he had no other choice while Sam only could chose not to drink

@@altinaykor364 Sam was fed demon blood as a baby. Regardless of whether he drank more later on or not, he would have NEVER been "completely normal". (As we saw in Seasons 1 and 2.) And while there are definite differences between Sam's situation in Season 4 and Dean's now, it's not uncommon for this show to draw parallels between things without them exactly matching each other. (I mean, if they exactly matched, then it would look like the show was being lazy and just recycling the exact same plotlines. But by drawing parallels they can still do things differently in some ways but tie it in to previous events with deeper layers of meaning.) There are a lot of times where I feel that Dean's actions are hypocritical, though in this case I don't think it's intentionally so. He's so deep in what's going on with himself, and so focused on his goal that I don't think he fully realizes even that there ARE any parallels between his current situation and what Sam went through back then. (Also, nothing in the show at this point even suggests that any of Dean's soul is "burned away" or missing. The Mark is most definitely having an effect on him, but that doesn't mean it's actually destroying his soul.)

@@Divhreaza gladly even you yourself knew that unlike Sam,Dean doesn't even know or think or care that something is wrong or parallels between himself with Sam!and even if he knew somehow,there's nothing he can do to change that!because that part which is burned,is not gonna come back again!unlike demon blood which depended on choice!which Sam could just chose not to drink and he would be normal just in days!and he realized that as well! and don't act like an idiot!show didn't give suggestion about soul burning away!you really can't see the difference?the Dean which always invited to hunt,didn't give a damn about who or what people are killing each other(this episode which showed soulless people was actually parallel to Dean's soul and also what the vampire mom said in 9x19!humanity!only humanity made Alex feel guilty about actions which if she didn't have such a thing,she could be different!Dean didn't give a damn about not feeling terrified or guilt over enjoying in killing those vampires!unlike Sam who did back in S3 and S4)and not gonna spoil but just rewatch episode 9x21 and see Dean's awesome reaction to Castiel!or Sam's anger about crossing over again!see you can find someone who has a normal soul or alive not

I so wish there had been a way for him to keep his powers without the whole addiction thing, I mean he was able to exorcise more than one demon at the same time and defend himself if another was attacking him. I miss when they used to exorcise them, especially on the spot it looked great, now they just kill everyone hahaahah

season 9 is my least favorite season but I love this episode!I can say alongside with Nina Dobrev, Jensen Ackles is best in playing emotionless people!and seeing Dean being emotionless and almost carless about everything was a very good twist in only one episode and even though I wasn't that much shocked when he got closer to Crowley(considering he told his name in 9x14 more than 200 times which he doesn't even call his own name)but I was really shocked when he saved Crowley!it was a test I know but but Dean didn't know!but I told you that that the previous episode is the last chance to say goodbye to Dean which you knew since season 1!Josie and Henry's storyline was kinda boring and the fact that Josie is already dead when her body burned by Sam in 8x23!or when Dean beheaded her in 8x12!just forget about her,she's already dead!and they could show so many more stories of her and Henry or is Millie alive or not!all I could say to Sam was why can't you get lost like you always dreamed about?Dean's soul slowly burning away was obvious in this episode
