In case you’re wondering, the only reason they’re able to put up ANY sort of fight at all against Lucifer, like Crowley using telekinesis, is because his vessel is weak and he himself is still weakened from Amara’s ripping him from Cas.

I think something that gets overlooked with regards to Mary leaving is the fact that the last thing in the world she wanted for her boys was to grow up in the life of a hunter. Looking at them now as grown men who are also hunters, it must be difficult. The conflict and jumble of emotions about it must weigh heavily on her.

I really like this episode. We get the "buddy comedy" of Cas and Crowley, plus Sam and Dean in black leather (to this day I STILL drool over Sam in THAT outfit!) and I actually really liked Lucifer's speech there at the end. It made sense with how they've developed him as a character up to this point, and I agree that that part was delivered well. I caught a little bit of Mark P's mannerisms in Rick's portrayal here and there, but I agree that overall he seemed to have a different take on the character. But since it was mostly for just the one episode I could overlook it in favor of some of the other enjoyable things. (Like, I also still love that scene where the crowd is trying to evacuate and Luci starts to shut the doors but Sam holds them open and just... his wingspan in that scene! And the way he's holding them open despite the power of an archangel behind them!) I also loved Sam's speech at the end. Yeah, it was a bit of a downer, but it was also the reality of the situation. They came out of it better than they could have expected, and they were able to save most of the people, but he was right that they're still loosing slowly, and that what Lucifer did to Vince hurt a lot of people. As far as Mary goes, I'm kinda with you Dakara. (It helped that the first time I saw this season it was before I'd really gotten into the fandom so I just had my own thoughts to ponder on it instead of the fandom collective.) While I don't necessarily agree with all her choices, I can understand why she would make them. And much like you, I think a lot has to do with the dissonance in her head in regards to what she'd had in Heaven vs. what she's woken-up to now. And these TALL strangers are somehow her little boys? I could understand why it would be so hard to wrap one's brain around that. Anyway, loved your reaction as always and I'm looking forward to more! (And I hope you and your little boy are doing well!)

I don't know why they didn't try to use holy oil molotov cocktails and an oil circle to stop Lucifer? At least trap him long enough to destroy his vassel. It's like the show writers forgot Angel 101.

about the question you asked in the description box regarding Mary's life. you are right. that is how it was for her in heaven. she did mention that the episode she left when she said I miss John and my boys, baby Sam and young boy Dean. so you are completely right. PS. I am sorry for any grammatical or spelling mistakes. English is not my first language. PSS. I love how you view this season from your own perspective regardless the popular opinion that people don't like it and how they hate Mary. because it IS a great season. it's my second favorite after season 9.

It's funny, Mark Pellegrino did not like Rick Springfield's portrayal of Lucifer for the exact same reasons you mention. Mark felt that Rick didn't do his research for the role and didn't give the consistent mannerisms like Misha did.

With regards to the guy who played Lucifer, I would like to believe that Lucifer's change of character is partially credited on Chuck living him alone again. Unlike the first time that Chuck left, he has now given up and is lashing out at God's creation.

@@samuelmiller4964 Which is just boring after a while. Doing something new with the character is exactly what I wanted, not just a never ending string of people trying to mimic the exact same thing over, and over. It's not clever, it's quite literally the least clever thing you could do with it.

This Lucifer gave me Lucifer but with depression vibes 💀 he seemed really mad at everything and really sad/heartbroken over chuck leaving him again so that’s why he wasn’t so cheery

Rick Springfield's mistake was that he wanted to portray his own Lucifer's version. Misha, on the other hand, asked Mark Pellegrino for advise. The advise was: 'when you stare at anybody it has to be like you want to kill or fuck them'.😎😈

We really needed Dean in a leather jacket, I wished Cas would have worn something similar… imagine Cas in a leather jacket

Yes, I believe Crowley is dismissed far too much. He gets no respect, even though he comes through for the boys time and again. Then the writers did him really dirty. Thankfully, they did do right by Rowena, even though the boys treated her just as bad as they did Crowley.

I have a question. Was Mary really in heaven? Cause she made a deal with yellow eyes to save John. Was the payback to that was just him coming to her house few years later to feed Sam his blood or her soul as well?
@NorinRadd-p4v4 жыл бұрын
What nonsense is the Archangel, not an angel throws away with an ordinary guitar) That is, in 4-5 seasons Dean almost broke his hand about ordinary angels and they did not move and they didn’t care, but then the guitar didn’t even break)

I agree with you on the lucifer thing, i preferred mark & misha's portrayal, i understand some of mary's pov but i didn't feel connected to her tbh, it doesn't help when she's barley on screen, she's just away most of the time, kinda like how john was, only john was 100 times worse & they were kids, great reaction dakara 👏😍.

Think it's a different Lucifer version. Probably Mark and Misha do it better, but think he do a good job. Can we say that he is right, about what he say about God?

Felt the same way that you do about Lucifer. No one can really pull it off as well as Mark and Misha. I wish I could look at Mary in your viewpoint, but I kind of always looked at it through Dean and Sam's perspective and because of that I don't really like her. Don't get me wrong I was fine with her at first, but her actions just made me not like her lol.
