Great content, I just got another ski for Northern California, just got my glass delivered today and about to fix a few things before I can hit the water.

@@RSKI maybe check local laws on what's permitted and what is not. Here we are allowed to surf our skis at the beach but no rivers what so ever. Gotta beach launch to ride and stay out of parks. I'd say any info that shows people it is legal. The biggest issue here is misinformation with people thinking it's illegal everywhere and some law enforcement telling everyone no just so they don't have to deal with it even though it's permitted. I'm reglassing my fixed steer superjet as we speak.

You should make a trip up to Oregon. We ride in the surf, rivers, and lakes!

Hey, I watched your yideo on your surf setup. Can you do a video on how you moved your handle pole forward? Thanks
@RSKI Жыл бұрын
Hi Matthew, Stu and I both have our handlepole moved forward but it was a very intensive modification and neither of us would recommend doing it. We don’t think it makes much of a difference.

@@RSKI thanks bro for the info. I guess I will just have to stick with the straight bars & blowsion steering stem & be happy with the approximate 4" it gains. Would you recommend fat bars or standard? Thanks again bruh!
@RSKI Жыл бұрын
We use an over the pivot steering which moves the bars much further forward. Ideally you want the grips in line with the hood latch. We use the KP steering in the high position with 4degree Blowsion handlebars.

Can you guys share the 3d files for the fixture guides you used? Super helpful video thanks a bunch!
@RSKI Жыл бұрын
Hey Doc! Thanks for the kind words, I might have misplaced the 3d file for the fixture, but you can use a piece of plywood or just design one quickly with the spacing that works for your footstrap.

@RSKI do you guys sell the 3D print jig and the glass precut
@PettersonPerformance2 жыл бұрын
any recommendation for how far up the straps should be on a stock length ski?
@RSKI2 жыл бұрын
I like to ride it without any straps and get a feel for where I want my feet. It’s really dependent on the handle pole length and steering combination.

What size do you cut the discs ? What thickness do you use for the fiber glass ? 🤓
@RSKI2 жыл бұрын
The first disk is 3” in diameter and the last one is about 7”. You could go bigger if you want but we haven’t seen these come out yet. We use 6oz woven fiberglass.

Do you sell the sheets and spacer?
@RSKI2 жыл бұрын
Hey nick, at the moment we don’t sell these as we don’t have our own laser for cutting the glass unfortunately.
