Maybe a video on freestyle setup? Nozzle throw and steering setup? Pole length, air intakes, hood latch setup 😄, foot holds and shoes.. just and idea. Keep the videos coming. Time lapse of a full build would also be sweet.

I didn’t know the rear sponsons had the pocket void thing a ma gig. I remember that stuff on a lot of Yamaha raiders back in the day. I think the parts were actually from Yamaha. Can’t remember if the bolted in with the rail or got bonded in the pocket. My 08 is all stock. I’m not that good of a rider but not bad. Tried racing at one time almost 20 years ago on my Kawi 750 sx. Was fun but I was getting passed by little kids like yours, lol. I want to start adding some stuff to mine now bc I think it would actually help ride better not just faster. I do have a prowatercraft tray extension. I did see a difference in my stance with that for the better. Being 6’2” the extra 2” that it sticks out back helped with my legs to plant apart better. I think next step is the OVP or at least a quick steer since I have the stock pole for now. Also might do some air filters since I never plan on going in the surf. I pulled my brass fittings out already when I had to clean the carbs. Thanks for the tips

I went RRP quick steer/short turn plate and straight bars. Lets you get a couple inches farther forward vs stock steering/bars. Been very happy with it this summer

Yeah, I’ll probably go that route first. Forgot to mention I do have zero degree UMI bars. The extra width and more aggressive feel of the straight bars are a plus.

You’ll probably notice a bigger improvement from sponsons but IMO you need front sponsons first

HEY TAYLOR! I have a 1996 Yamaha Wave Raider 1100! Useully runs great! But it stalled twice on me out there....installed new Start/Stop Switch Box & new Starter Solenoid! When I jump the Solenoid terminals it cranks over fine! Nothing when I hit the Green Start Button!!! There in No Power to the White Start/Stop Connector comming from the CDI Box!!! Any idea's?
