A veteran of the War in Afghanistan, he was awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions during the Battle of Ganjgal on 8 September 2009, Kunar Province, Afghanistan.

I am the mother of a new MARINE he graduated jan3 2020 from parris island SC. He turned 19 during Boot camp and now my youngest son is going to meps in May and soon as he graduates HS he's gone. My oldest is a rifleman he wants to be special forces if you have any advice for new MARINES or their family I would be grateful. I just want to say thank you for your service which seems so weak to say but I am a patriot and I believe we are free because of the brave and I'm so very proud to be a MARINE MOM. Dakota’s Mexican clinic experience sounds so much like psilocybin research being done here in the states. Especially with terminal cancer patients. I worked with an MD who was doing psychiatric research with it and the preliminary results were so promising.
