When His Holiness speaks, yes, you see the love, you see the compassion, you see the joy. But honestly speaking, you also see the tenacious strength, courage, and ocean of wisdom His Holiness has as well. Wonderful clip out of a wonderful teaching.

His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama comes on this planet for every sentient being and many persons don’t understand English. A lot of people would like to understand what His Holiness says and put it into practice. Thank you so much to translate in other languages His Holiness teachings.

H.H said was 100% correct and we should try to do it..as H.H said.. ~~!! Give some time for ourselves no one else..but only face yourself to be with yourself to introspect and do as Dharma taught by H.H or your own Guru!! make sense!!

I believe that the His Holiness made this comment with the understanding that at the root of all of the worlds major religions is the teaching of compassion and love for our fellow humans. I don't think their are many Muslims that think that extremist terrorists are true Muslims.

I believe, as always, we simply argue about different things. What I meant is that Jesus did, does and will do true miracles in peoples lives and in the world, while DL is just a human like you and me.

The program began on July 18 and will conclude with an audience with Gyalwang Karmapa at the Gyuto Monastery on July 30. Last month, Taiwan Solidarity Union Legislator Lin Shih-chia said she would propose officially inviting Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama to deliver a speech at the Legislative Yuan. “To show that we’re in solidarity with the Tibetans in their quest for freedom, I will make a proposal to formally invite the Dalai Lama to deliver a speech at our legislature,” Lin said.

Look to this day! For it is life, the very life of life. In its brief course lie all the verities and realities of our existence. The Bliss of growth, the glory of action and the splendour of beauty are but experiences of time. For yesterday is but a dream and tomorrow only a vision, But...Today...well lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness and every tomorrow a vision of hope. Look well therefore to this day. (The Sanskrit)

@baddladd - why don't you try carrying a conversation in Tibetan and see how you sound to Tibetans?
@123ertr12 жыл бұрын
there is right faith and wrong faith , right view and wrong view ...etc to say practice what ever faith you have is the same as saying continue with what ever wrong view you have in your head which certainly leads to more suffering and disaster .
@123ertr12 жыл бұрын
i have respectfor the dali lama but i disagree with him at 4:51 when he said what ever your faith you must practice . remember 9-11 , the terrorists had faith too .if it is the wrong faith donot practice will be more appropriate .

I can't believe you actually took that literally. Think with common sense, fellow KZbinr.
what an unchristian thing to say. It is a shame you are so haughty about your religion when your beliefs were from a religion that evolved from several earlier religions(in particular Egyptian...and Jesus did go to Egypt in the myth), do you know how many folks before Jesus' time had a "son of god" or an actual god that died for the greater good only to rise again after 3 days? had baptism? last supper kind of situation? at least 8 that I can think of, the TEACHING is important not the stories
