I was stationed on Okinawa back in the late 70's. Capt. Dye was seen on Armed Forces Network television channel. He hosted a daily feedback program and answered questions posed by the soldiers about AFN. He is an unforgettable personality. He always was on the level. A man with real class.

Captain Dale Dye USMC(Mustang). Is a friend of mine. We met at the late Paul's Italian Villa, in Simi Valley CA. for our Marine Corps League meetings. I'd often bring my daughter. Captain Dye would frequently piggy back my daughter around the restaurant & banquet room. The 1st time Captain Dale Dye showed up, he was in his Officers Blues, after his introduction, he said "Now everyone go get your blues on!!" Our League meetings were casual, uniform optional. At one point we had the largest Marine Corps league in SoCal!!

I love the interviews with soldiers, veterans, navy seals etc... They are just super inspiring and seems like they have super-secret knowledge :) I completely agree with the idea of "structure" whether it's life, army, work... Without structure, rules etc it's one big mess and it leads to frustration, unhappiness and finally giving up.

And this one deserves to be called the art of masculinity and the essence of greatness. I watched prior to this one your interview in T.A.M. Here I see a servant making a difference in so many different walks of life by a total commitment to his small piece of the puzzle.

Hate to be that guy and love the interviews. Please change your intro banner to read "U.S. Marine CORPS" it is not the US Marine Core. Thank you from an avid viewer and former Marine.

Men and women, before getting into the military, make sure that your natural personal emotional makeup is compatible with what is required (listen to Dale Dye) to avoid crippling Post Traumatic Stress Disorder ruining the rest of your life. The 800 pound gorilla in the room ... people come with emotions, to suppress emotions .... makes the emotions more powerful. As long as we are not acknowledging our emotions, we will continue to have people to compensate in destructive ways. Anger, calmness, friendship, fear, courage, shame, confidence, kindness, benevolence, cruelty, pity, indignation, envy, jealousy , love, guilt, these live in all of us. They are not gender specific. Gender does not make for an emotional makeup. Societal/peer pressure (ex : bullies) and education decides which emotions are accepted and which are not. It is madness (Mad men) to impose the same roles/emotions on humans that come in such a vast variety of personalities. It has come at a cost of chaos, immense suffering and untapped potential on an individual level for a very long time. The fact that as a society we are now searching to allow the freedom for everyone to be themselves and to operate from their strengths, is a huge step forward in the evolution of mankind (Man kind = includes all genders). Love from Belgium.
