I'm an American living in Romania for the last 8 years. I have a love for salt water fishing and fresh water fishing. Never have I fished for carp in America. It wasn't even a thought. After moving to Romania, I've taken up carp fishing and have been taught by my local friends. Finally, I have an idea of what I'm doing and have a great appreciation for the sport. Now I want to find the big fish! Thanks for taking time to make these videos. I appreciate it. Maybe some day, we'll fish together. Until then fir întins !

Thats awesome William, Romania has quite a few good waters to explore, all depending in which part of the country you're in. I started fishing for carp in Romania as a child and early teen, then came to Canada where I stopped for many years. Then around 10 years ago, it all came full circle and I started almost exclusively fishing for carp. All the best, fir intins!

Being from upstate new york, I've always been into walleye, smallies, trout, salmon, and muskies.... I stumbled on their video from dale hollow some years back. Which is what peaked my interest in carp fishing... I started really concentrating on carp fishing here on my home town river (the susquehanna) I also stumbled on your channel and as a small time youtuber myself. I really appreciate the effort you put into your videos and telling the story... It's not easy... KZbin is a fickle place ... With as good as your videos are I'm not sure why your channel hasn't exploded... well anyways keep it up and if ever in upstate feel free to hit me up

I have a question, a serious question I need to figure this out...Have you noticed a better bite rate/ catch rate with different fishing lines? I seemed to have better results with a brown mono on most waters...but Then I got some green braid, and I had the best results with that..and Past year I went back to brown mono, and I catch way less...SoI am wondering what is the best line to use?
@soad4jt5894 ай бұрын
This question can be two parts, one on dhl line to use, and general use line to use? But I had better results everywhere with the braid. including dale hollow.
@FRJustBeingMe4 ай бұрын
@@soad4jt589 rlly? ive had better with mono, although i fish in england, so most likely also depends on the environment the fish grow in and how the line reflect tht environment, dont rlly know for sure though..........
@TeamCarpFishing4 ай бұрын
I have not noticed line making a difference. I have fished mono and braid of different colors and I think as long as your linelay is good, some leadcore on the final section, it should yield same results. Saying this its very difficult to say with certainty that it doesn't make a difference as there are so many variables in fishing, its hard to keep the tesr 100% consistent!
@soad4jt5894 ай бұрын
@@TeamCarpFishing well it's good to hear opinions. I have thought I did better on mono, then better on braid. so i dont know.
