Well done Simon. 👏🏻 Best lake I’ve ever fished. Fished here many times in the 90s best times. Roger smith RIP and Kerry Basinger showed me the way on many on many French lakes. This lake is not for the faint hearted. Simon thought the winds were strong. They are nothing compared to what that lake throws at you, hailstones the size of golf/cricket balls. Thunder and lightning ⛈️ that wishes you were at home in the warm. Great days, great times. I know this lake better than any lake I’ve fished. Can’t wait to get back there. Well done again Simon. You have made that catch worth a trip and many more for me to return.

Yeh I’ve seen some of the videos from the foreign anglers, some crazy weather in the summer! The wind I experienced was nothing at all compared to that. Amazing lake, thanks for watching 🙌

Sorry to hear about your dog ..loved that dog in your fishing movies ...i fished a lot on Salagou and 1 trip i fished on the others site of your swim . there was a little campsite in the past and in the spring i fished to that little island , around the island there is about 5 mtr out 3 mtr of water and then drops to 10/11 mtr .. got some big ones there . concrats with that monster fish ,,,well done
