Dale Jr. Mocks Richard Childress After Richmond | Denny Hamlin Has Harsh Advice for Spotters

Dale Earnhardt Jr. has a long history with Richard Childress Racing, his father earning six titles with the organization. This week on the "Dale Jr. Download," the podcast host talked about the team owner and made fun of him for his remarks in the post-race press conference at Richmond, where he refused to believe that Austin Dillon's spotter instructed the driver to wreck Denny Hamlin on the last lap on a couple of occasions.
Denny Hamlin also shared his thoughts this week on his "Actions Detrimental" podcast about that incident and spotters in general, and didn't sugarcoat what he thought the group should do going forward.
And Austin Dillon talked with Earnhardt on the podcast about his future and what that might look like, including when he might consider hanging up the helmet and moving up to the front office and running RCR.

Does anyone remember Logano's first NASCAR win and how he got it? Does anyone remember what Hamlin tried to do, but couldn't, to Ross Chastain a couple years ago? I think it was Kansas but I could be wrong. Who gives a rat's ass what they think about anything? Or Dale f**king Jr for that matter? So what if Dillon wrecked them? Like they've never done that or worse? Sorry that Dillon wasn't that good at it but remember, he hasn't had a lot of practice executing that move. Give him a couple more tries and he'll get it right. Patience man. What about Logano's little drive down pit road after the race? That seemed a little more egregious than what Dillon did on track during the race. Why isn't he being crucified?

It was a disaster tbh wrecking two cars to win just can’t stand. I wonder if nascar will change the win and your in format. Leave everything else alone and point your way into the playoffs. Bonus points for winning make it worth it. When you see how bonus points can pretty much seed you to the next round it makes winning top priority regardless

Nascar finally got it right. Austin is no longer playoff eligible after reviewing the SMT data and his spotter was suspended for 3 weeks. They let him keep the win buts its useless now lol. Also Logano got a 50K fine. I agree with all but i think Austin should have gotten a 1 race suspension for intentionally hooking another driver like the others have gotten. But at least he was removed from the playoffs.

Is Dillon implying that if his spotter hadn't been acting like a "fanboy" and egging him on to wreck the other competitors, that he wouldn't have? I mean, he's the driver with the wheel in his hands and his feet on the brake and the accelerator. Nascar was right to penalize the spotter for dangerous and unsportsmanlike conduct, but Austin was sure quick to throw him under the bus while minimizing his own responsibility. As far as Richard Childress and his denial of the facts are concerned, he handled himself like a stereotypical shameless politician or government bureaucrat.
