Dale never stop reflecting on the past , memories are all we have & we love hearing about them .
@Carlos-r5n2bАй бұрын
I've heard the worst form of conversation is" remember" "when". But as bad as Nascar has got JMO the memories and 25 year old race replays are much more entertaining. Rich kids with big money? I haven't watched a race since the first Bristol dirt race 2018? terrible idea JMO. It's like bubba Wallace is different. Not for the reason you'd think. His father is a multi millionaire not a billionaire. I listened to races on the radio and recorded ones on wide world of sports. Watched first flag to flag 1979 age 11 and never missed one till 2018 if I wasn't around a tv always had radio. The knockoffs Lugs The LA clash I never watched? Idk just fell out of love. Dale jr is my only news. Or I'll read results on Wed or Fri when I remember. The cars do look more stock with low profile tires, but who drives a car with knockoffs? And a Toyota Camry is fwd. Ive lost 7 short tracks all an hr or less away in 15 years. 6 are golf courses with memberships only the wealthy can afford. All were packed every race. The Rich hate seeing blue collar people have a good time .

I'm thinking, if Jr. wants Sr. to come back to work on that car, and I know he does, why don't he just open his mouth and ask him ? I mean Jr. has the keys to his own shop, he just needs to make Sr. a set of keys and turn him loose. That's all that needs to happen, FFS he is the only Dale Earnhardt still alive walking the earth, he needs to act like it. If he believes that Hailey Deegan was done wrong, put her ass in one of his cars and see what she can do with it. He owns his own shop, he needs to stop hem hawing around and run it like his dad ran DEI. For that matter DEI is still sitting there like somebody just forgot about it, and Theresa just shut the lights off and never went back. That 8 car belongs at the DEI shop it needs parked over by the 3 car in the front lobby. It just needs somebody to turn the lights on and go to work. I mean Taylor isn't her mom, but she is still an Earnhardt, and maybe she needs to take over and run that shop, and Kelly needs to stay put at JR MOTORSPORTS. The phones still work don't they? Taylor can call Kelly if she needs her help.

I'm so thankful that Dale brings in people who worked with his Dad and/or was friends with his Dad and he gets to learn things that he didn't pay as close attention to and it helps him fill the void of losing his Dad as a fairly young man himself and remembering stories he either didn't know or he was part of the story and wanted the other people involved sides of the stories of how they remembered them. It's a great thing Dale is doing and he also heals from the trauma of losing his Dad. Plus I'm sure the concussions may have clouded his memory some and this helps him tremendously. Either way , these stories are truly PRECIOUS PRICELESS TREASURED BLESSINGS AND MEMORIES FOREVER AND THEY NEED TO BE TOLD AND HEARD ESPECIALLY BY SOME OF THE YOUNG DRIVER'S THAT DON'T KNOW HOW HARD IT WAS TO RACE BACK WHEN RALPH WAS RACING IN THE 50'S WHICH IS WHEN I MET HIM AT THE OLD COLUMBIA SPEEDWAY IN CAYCE SOUTH CAROLINA EVERY THURSDAY NIGHT!!! ANYONE WHO WAS THE BEGINNERS IN NASCAR RACED AT THIS HISTORIC TRACK AND I MET EVERY DRIVER BECAUSE WE PARKED IN THE INFIELD AND WE WERE PARKED NEAR RALPH NUMEROUS TIMES ALONG WITH OTHER GREATS TINY LUND, LEE PETTY AND BUCK BAKER, CALE YARBROUGH, BOBBY AND DONNIE ALLISON, FIREBALL ROBERTS, HASKELL WILLINGHAM, SAM ARD, SAM SOMERS, BOBBY ISAAC, BUDDY BAKER, RICHARD PETTY, DAVID PEARSON AND SO MANY OTHERS. IT WAS AWESOME AND THE BEST SPORT ON THE PLANET 🏁🏆🏁 WE ALSO WENT TO DARLINGTON TWICE EVERY YEAR AND BACK THEN IN THE INFIELD YOU HAD EASY ACCESS TO ALL THE DRIVER'S AND CREW MEMBERS. NOT LIKE NOW, where you have to have connections to get near pit road and forget about meeting all the driver's!!! Not there's any driver I really want to meet except DaleJr. and Amy and Kelley 🏁🏆🏁

I drove by DEI the other day and it definitely made me feel sad seeing that place all closed and locked up. It is such a beautiful facility to be sitting there with nothing going on. Dale Jr. I am so glad you can think back to the past and appreciate the tough relationship times within your family and you can admit that you weren’t doing the right thing at times. I remember him telling Tony Sr that the right front was "Bouncing like a basketball in turn 3. I mean a full on basketball bounce". I also remember after he passed DJ him cuing the radio and saying, "Hell YES!!!" Almost 25 years ago, and I remember it like it was yesterday. In fact other than a pit road incident at Bristol with another driver ("jerk his @$$ outta there boys"), it's the only distinct radio conversation I ever remember in all my years of going to the races.
