It will catch up, but just like in European nations that participate in cricket like NED, SCO, IRE, it will never be the number 1 sport. In Aus, cricket is serious business. Thats why they have winning mentality. They're a nation that plays many sports, but cricket is close to number 1. Unlike England or NZ, ppl passionately follow the sport (not fanatical like us, but very serious abt the game). Even AFL players, F1 drivers like Piastri etc know very well abt the sport. They discuss cricket seriously on TV. Whereas in Eng, NZ etc other sports play a role. In Eng, SCO, NED, IRE - Football is number 1. NZ - predominantly rugby nation

Yes according to them Anderson is best, no doubt Anderson is very good but Steyn gun is different beast his 93 test matches 440 wickets are far miles better than Anderson. No matter how much test matches Anderson plays nobody can defeat And barely even touch steyn's prime and domination in test cricket.His pace, swing , control both with the new ball and old ball in all varied conditions is unmatchable and unparalleled
