Thankyou for a cool and informative video full of useful tips. I usually have my Squier pass my weapons to me once I'm mounted which from experience is the safest way to arm yourself for a charge. In action short sword on the right side and draw ( with right) up and level. Every country in the World has it's own way with Horses but I like the way you treat yours as a buddy, taking the knocks together. Fantastic job, a bit envious.

I was told that you wanted the back strap 1 hands thickness loose. If that make sense. Cuz if it were to be tight it could disturb the horse and get him to breakin loose. Was I told wrong or is boon the upper echelon of horses and he is comfortable with it tight?

Dale, please demonstrate how to saddle a horse who is a foot taller than you at the withers. It's a skill I've had to acquire because I'm 5'1" and the horse I ride is 18.2. I'd love some pointers from a Super Puncher
