Happy Easter. Oh my folks, I thought you were reliving my stay at Crockfords. I stayed there from March 18th-20th. And most everything you folks did I did too. I stayed on the 66th floor, about 20 doors down from the lounge which I toured but didn't stop in as it was very busy. And I had one dinner at Carversteak, and had exactly the same Prix Fare Meal as Dale had, with the difference that I had the chard Brussels sprouts instead of the green beans. And you folks must have been very nice to get the extra dessert. I got a nice conversation with the general manager as I was talking about how I compared the property with Resorts World in Singapore and how I really appreciated the level of service that Crockfords offers and how it equals what one would expect in places like Hong Kong or Singapore . I ate another dinner at Bressa, which was very good also and had a lunch at the food hall too. I really appreciated the seating area by the check-in area and loved the decorated lounge and the pastries and coffee. I spent a good amount of time there in the morning answering my emails and never felt that they wanted to boot me out. Even when I was waiting for my late night flight to Toronto, I really liked Randys Donuts. They were certainly a surprise. I spent a good amount of time at Fontainebleau, too which I found to be very beautiful and I had one of the best chicken sandwiches that I ever had at Capons in their food hall. I can see myself spending a lot more time on the northern strip than I usually do. I really appreciate your videos and commentary. Thanks, and have a great Easter.

Awesome vlog! Honest--I like how you address the issues you had while staying--but also appreciative of the service folk and the things that went right. Not sure I'm ready to stay there quite yet--I am waiting until the north Strip has become a "thing," which it will be in the next decade--but your experience made it seem like a lovely stay. I was in their casino on my last visit in December and I liked it a lot (I won) and I intend a follow-up in late May--after I visit Fountainbleau. Hoping I run into you guys!

Hope you're having a wonderful Easter! Great video as always. I have had a similar experience with their elevators and also the Alle Lounge 66. Made reservations weeks in advance - three separate times - and EACH time they cancelled me at the last minute for some private event $$$. I don't bother anymore. My go-to for strip view bar / lounge is now Skyfall at Delano and also enjoy the Ghost Bar over at the Palms.

Dale, I understand how you feel about elevators and them not working with the digital key. This happened to me many times at the Bellagio. When I was there in 2022, I had used the digital key (my cell phone). It would not work and I couldn't get out of the elevator for 5 mins. This happened each time I used the phone to operate the Spa Tower elevators. I even invited the security guard to show him that it wouldn't work and while he tried it using my Samsung phone, it still wouldn't operate any of them. A quick trip to the front desk to get a card key and I never had any issues again with Bellagio's elevators.

I’m curious about the knife selection feature at the steakhouse. I’m no culinary expert by any means, but I would think that there is one generally best knife for every type of steak, so offering a variety of options almost seems like a gimmick. What did you think? (Maybe I’m just ignorant! Haha)
