Thank you! With that machine, we installed 4200 feet of 36 inch ,2600 feet of 30 inch, and 4400 ft of 21inch tile. On that project, in total, was just short of a million feet! Our largest ever by far.

Thank you!, very happy with the original Barber Greene design, as well as the modifications done to it. No need to reinvent this wheel, just update it...👍

I had a TA-55 as well as a Speicher and a tile plow . . The TA-55 was originally set up for concrete tile up to 24" when acquired in 1974. The tile plow was one of the first in Illinois in 1979. We did a million ft job for Prudential Insurance at their Fair Oaks Farms in the early 80's. When installing 5000' of 24" tubing in Columbus Indiana, I had a similar setup. My only suggestion would be to use auger wagons to transport the rock and fill the hopper. Works like a charm.

I can only guess at what that cost the land owner. I just do not see how that could ever increase yield enough for the payoff to be less than 50 years.

Proper Drainage always pays. This 1200 acre system will pay for itself in 4-8 years, sometimes 3 on the right farm and weather patterns, it will also last for hundreds of years in our soils when done properly. With inflation in 50 years it will have made a minimum of 10x it's cost back! Takes alot, pays even more.

@@WillDberg 1,200 acres. What was the total cost?

@@WillDberg Maybe. Maybe not. It could very easily never pay it's cost back. I know you make your living installing these things and so you want those numbers you gave to be accurate. They might be, or close, but they might be far far too good as well.
