In his autobiography, Nikita Khruschev recounts how dependent the Soviet army was on American motorized vehicles and rations to move and feed its armies for virtually all of the war, not just the first few years. You know that Nikita Khrushchev was a persistent liar and opportunist, right? Historians say that American lend-leases to the USSR did not even reach 5% of the entire Soviet war effort. And there are historians who even say that aid only represented up to 2%. Not to mention that there are documents from the Soviet government at the time complaining to the British government that many of the weapons were outdated, disassembled on different cargo ships, and without manuals... And that engineers had to rack their brains with reverse engineering to make the weapons and tanks useful. Anyone who sees this kind of thing thinks that the Soviets had no industry, no army, no resources, no military engineering of their own, etc. What is nothing more than false propaganda created during the Cold War to try to diminish the fundamental role of the USSR in defeating the Nazis, and which they try at all costs to put into people's heads.

@@alexnovak3319 Your first part is correct but not the 2nd part of your comment... The 502nd panzer divison used the netting on some of their panzers like the panther and the panzer 4 also on some of their tigers, and so did few other divisions. the netting was normally used , when they were defending a potion, and were in hiding , in woodland arena or where there was bushes. waiting for an abuse. You can see photos of german tanks in Normandy using netting, they would attract leaves and branches , this would make it harder for an enemy to spot them.

Kind of a let-down that most of the tanks just kept getting stuck on the ruined building on your right flank. Probably should've had more AT teams on that side to deal with them. But that was one heck of a fight! Well done!

Instead of adding troops to the building when he had 1624 MP, he withdrew his troops deep into the building, where no soldier could shoot out. I knew that would reduce his casualties but just 1 minute after he pulled his troops out of the windows, enemy infantry immediately closed in on the building. What's even worse is that behind that building is his MP supply route, if he loses that building he won't get any more MP, and he won't get any more troops. He must know that that building is very important, so keep that building at all costs, if his troops are injured then use medics, or if not save them then call more troops there, he has almost 2000 MP. Instead, he immediately withdrew his troops from the window positions when only two soldiers were injured. You only have two wounded soldiers, while you can immediately save them or call in more troops, whatever it takes to keep the building, although I know he mostly ignores the medic and rarely use them. It's been 2 years and he still hasn't gotten better at this game.
