The droids were starting way too close imo. I like the idea of 10 snipers but having a whole battalion already at the base of the hill with 3 or 4 more battalions immediately opening fire on them, putting them in a suppressed state, took away what could have been a pretty cool battle. It looked there was a lot of space towards the rear to create that advancing droid army as 10 snipers tried to hold them off from a distance

Agreed, the clones should have been in 5 separate 2 man teams with overlapping fields of fire and the droids should have started just barely out of firing range to give the clones a chance to shoot before being suppressed.

You pick 10 snipers but start the overwhelming force almost in their face, completely negating the SNIPING part. You have to consider what the unit does when placing their opposition. Your placement of the clones also completely blocks their line of sight to the bridge via the cliff, which would explain why they just ignored those droids.

Not to mention the Clone sharpshooters should have been more spread out, teams of two with better positioning, line of sight and concealment

I think when the clones put their guns up it means they don’t have the angle to shoot that enemy either because their cover is in the way or they don’t have an angle to shoot the enemies. Like the clone on the top of the ridge in the beginning couldn’t shoot the droids that are way below them

This reminds me of BattleFront 1 survival levels, 15 waves of enemies versus 1-2 troops, odds stacked against them, and they manage to come out on top in the end. That is, if you have a good player as ur teamate

The scenario needs to be run with a few geographic variances (i.e. one with no cliff, one with no bridge, one in an open field, one with in a forest). That will give you a more clear assesment.

In star wars force unleashed 2 in the extra content there is a journal entry from commander cody in which he states that when vader started substituting the clone army with outside forces after order 66 that he would have traded the entire imperial army for just one clone trooper as they were the best fighters in the galaxy having trained their entire life
