The reason the tanks didn't go through the same area as before is because you didn't block off the other paths with tank traps plus they didn't get stuck with destroyed vehicles blocking all the other ways in. That's literally the only reason that happened in the last video

You should create trenches in front of the capture point and man them with volksferm squads, and a fusilier squad. And maybe plob down some 2cm flak guns. And probably spend more MP generously, because you had 3000 MP for 1/3 of the battle.

I say instead of Timelapse, how about you just do cuts? The best way I can describe it is when to do something like mine a feild or deploy a unit, you show it being placed then cut to the next thing you place. So to put it in lame terms, instead of “place, move, look around, place, move, look around, rinse repeat” it’ll look like “place (cut) place (cut) place (cut)”

I do enjoy the mine timelapses quite a bit. Also. When i see that my AI allies have brought up a massive weapon of destruction... such as that nebelwerfer, i usually tend to send some infantry over to said ally nebelwerfer and comandeer it... by any means nessecary... Caaaaause otherwise they kill eveything. Like you saw. Whats a few arty men vs the greater good, and health, of the team.

Hi Daley. Firstly, I love your videos. Secondly, unfortunately you cannot make everyone happy. I think you can make most happy by putting the time across the screen. This way the viewers who want to watch the full setup can, and those that wish to skip it can move to that time in the video. Personally I’m happy with whatever you decide. I prefer the time lapse but when you show it sped up, rather than the cut to post prep. I prefer the defense videos way more than the assault vids. The defense vids feel more progressive and are fun to watch, the assault vids feel like a grind no offense.

I would start off all in at the home base the same way, but then try to recapture and reporting areas accordingly, those capture points may be onto something, I would fortify areas on your side of the capture point, not in it, but before it so you can put up a defense at the brim 🤙

Hiya, I would like to suggest another try, this time with a typical Daley craziness involved! No more armored, artillery or any other unit! Only purchase engineers and other miners, and plenty of engineering trucks or whatever is available! Flood the entire front line with mines, and then, keep replenishing them for every wave! At best, buy the cheapest infantry to protect the engineers! This might be one of those circumstances where you do away with the fast forward! 🤭

I think you should re-do it again and maybe lower the number of enemies to 4 and maybe the number of allies to 1? Not sure of that would help. But in this case I think maybe some more mortars and supporting fire along with some PAK guns and such. It seems like in the last video, when you used those more, it went a bit better, maybe? Another thing that MIGHT work is digging some tank trenches and putting flak guns in there to provide them more cover? The only issue might be they can't shoot over the berm. But I think you also need put more layers of infantry out as well. Not all the way up at the beach but I think that would help as well. Also maybe support a few of the infantry sections with MGs.

personally the less time lapses the better, everyone can always fast forward or out right skip it. but a good compromise would be to show the defense setup in time lapse form when its the troops or vehicles. maybe skip mine spam or other things.

I would say allow the AI to defend the point while you concentrate on defending the flanks a good defensive position on the flanks along with mines and tank traps will deal with the vast majority of the enemy as they charge towards the capture point. a few at guns and tanks with dug in infantry in front and a mortar or arty positioned on the road and field will be devastating on the left flank on the right the ai seem to like infantry more so 1 tank a 20mm AA some infantry and a mortar should hold that position. this should give you the flexibility to counter the enemy whilst staying out of the rush for the point and losing the vast majority of your troops to the enemy/allied artillery and enemy tanks.

Daley in the real d-day the Germans had hundreds of heavy mgs covering the beaches along with artillery and thousands of soldiers the Germans used heavy suppressive fire on the allies and incorporated tank straps they never used mine's on the real beaches
